Am I a Fool to Believe?

Election is past approaching. There are so many kind candidates running after us. They are wishing to get our precious votes. Guys, I would like to remind you that our votes are precious. It can make or unmake our nation. If we choose a candidate that is intended to serve the people without hidden agenda, then it can make our nation. But if we choose the ones who are running just because they are aiming for power and money, then it can unmake our nation.
The dilemma is always present. It is because NO ONE amongst them can stand and really say "I am a Filipino, I am after the welfare of the Filipinos". My goodness gracious! really, they are running for self interest. They have vested interest and these are fame, power and money.
You guys.....Yes I'm pointing my finger on you....POLITICIANS! If you are really serving our country why don't you spend your millions with these beggars around. Come on! Get them...love them.....care for them.
Give them shelter. Give them food. Give them clothing. Give them medicines. Give them education. Provide them everything they need so they can pick-up their broken dreams.
Why are you just standing in there? Can't you do that? Yes I know. How fool of me to believe that there is even one amongst you who is willing to take the challenge. What can you get out of them anyways. They are not voters. They don't even know how to read and shade for your name. They are not registered voters. There is no reason to care for them.
Politicians....you are making your homes there.... down there.
Goodluck!

That's a great idea to do especially to the new voters how to be progress a country from poverty. We need also to choose a good leader to solve disasters in environment. Make a challenge for us....

  5. There are many candidates that are trying hard to win the votes of the Filipinos. No one will really truly use their money to help the less fortunate people. Most of them are interested on the money and power they will have once they are hailed as politicians. But they should not say that they are the key to end the rising poverty in the country. They should be a role model that having discipline and perseverance will make you a success in life. If they keep on saying that they will give comfort to poor people then these people will keep on hoping and hoping on the promises of the running politicians, instead of taking actions first by themselves on how to improve their own lives. The politicians should not corrupt and make sure that the taxes they are collecting are being used on the improvement of the nation. They must not use it for their own interest.

  7. Election is an event where we elect and choose candidates. Why should we vote? Does everybody need to vote? Why should we elect that person? These are the questions that entered my mind when the first time I heard about it. My parents is telling that it is important to vote because they will be our leader for 6 consecutive years. We vote that candidate because we believed his/her promise that they will change our world. Why are they saying promises that they can't do? That's why we should study what the candidate say,and let's ensure ourself when we vote him/her it means wer trust them.

  8. as a first time voter (hopefully?hahaha), I myself is also frustrated with what those politicians are doing.I don't barely even know who of them are saying the damn truth. I cannot choose who of them can really make their promises to the people. they said promises are meant to be broken?? I hope in this case, those promises must not be broken. If it happens, our dream to have a better nation will also broke into pieces,

So you, me, all of us, we must choose who are the deserving candidates for our precious votes, its not just about the popularity of a certain candidqate, its about US! its for the new generation, and most specially, for a better nation. (think 7 times a Day!!!! wahahaha echoz!)

The truth is,i do not know who will be the lucky politician will get my vote.haha :) Still now i am undecided about that matter. The question is, Is this coming ELECTION will be a big help for our country?. Do the elected officer will do their job? Why we need to have an election if still the wrong politician will be elected then,...
I could say that i am in the right age to know how to vote wisely but even though i know that no one, no any politician has a pure good intention to our country still my vote is important. And i will make it valuable that i vote the right one :)

  13. On this site we discuss the political Views and politics that affect our country, and look at things that need to be changed to make things better. We discuss such issues as our country, our border, foreign oil, the us trade agreement, and other issues that affect our country and it's politics, we're trying to build a loyal following of people who'd like our country to be what it once was, of the people, by the people, and for the people.

We're trying to build up a following of people who think that our country needs help, people who are willing to speak out on the issues, such as the presidential elections that are coming this year.

Many politicians are now campaigning for this coming election, they are announcing their candidacy and promising the people that they are the right person for the position they running for....
They only run for their own intentions..
I don't believe them because up until now nothing changes that's why we have seen many beggars around, street children, who lack in education. The crime will expand because of these problems.
Does the politicians even think of it??
I don't think so.... But I hope that whoever will become the next leader of our country will do his/her job. He will be responsible enough for the improvement of our nation.

  15. Politicians are always the most promising person when the election day comes. They encourage people to vote them in as well as promising them good life and better future. If politicians are wise enough to led their people maybe there's nobody that is begging for food and shelter. Unemployment rate decrease, street children were fed and other more economic crisis were resolve. They are just truly good in mouthing words but lack in actions. Hope there's better politicians can change the way we think about them and reverse it.

I don't say all, but it so happen that our nation is continuously buried under the greediness of some who are aiming for that fame, power and money. Thousands of people are suffering from hunger but they spend millions peso that suppose to gain by those people mostly needed it.

The future of our family and our country is on our hands so, we need to choose a very responsible leader, because if we choose a wrong one we are the most affected. and don't just believe to their words that is only their gimmicks to have the symphathy of the filipino people, especiaaly the voters.

  29. I felt so sad when I read this blog. Honestly speaking this is the sad truth .
As a first time voter there are two side playing in my mind. First just in case I would be elected
I will not do a crazy things that you are asking for an elected officials give food for the beggars, give shelter for them. Ha....I am a politicians not a philanthropist. And beside there is no allocated
budget for the beggars. Most of the beggars in the street is children those street children have their own family they should be sent back with their family where they belong. And to those old beggars they should be in the home for the aged if and if they don't have a family. For me giving alms to the beggars is a very big NO because we are tolerating them. Second most of the candidates are not qualified to our next leader most of them only want money, power. They always make promise. But what is a promise a promise can be break. After they are elected they forgot what they promise they are very busy making their own pocket full or should I say their bank accounts. But at the end of the day I have to choose I need to exercise my rights.

  32. ELECTIONS!!! ELECTIONS!!! yes the elections are coming to an end. After six years of waiting of the candidants they are aiming to be the next powerfull person in the Philippines.
But what election really mean???. That is the qustion that bears in my mind when I'm a child. As a child before, I don't really care with everything and anything regarding with our nation. As long as I'am sleeping, eating and playing I'm happy and contented with my life. And I'm sure that is the feeling of the child nowadays like me before.
But now that Iam a eighteen years old I do care with our nation, my beloved Philippines. My hometown and my only nation. I do care with what is happening around us. I do care with who is the president and who will the goog leader of my beloved hometown. Now is my time to be a responsible citizen of my nation, not only in words but also in action.
In my hand and vote is for the sake of the nation's goodness. I will only vote who is deserving to be the President of the Philippines.I can compare those candidant's to an "igwana" because they hiding what they really are. They are using their money just to get the votes of someone.According to the blog above why not use your money to give with those beggars in the street. It is really much worth if they will give it to the foundations who really need it very badly to spent for the streetchildrens in the foundation. Give it to those beggar so that they can eat.
Those candidant's who just want power and money they are all really BASTARD!!!

And without turning back with the people who help themto be on that position. They didn't care about those who are blocking their way to success.

Where the traditional politician’s campaign machine is run figuratively by paid employees, including barangay and purok officials, the volunteers of Bangon Pilipinas operate more like biblical shepherds, guiding the flock to exercise their right to vote not on the basis of which candidate paid more, but rather to put one’s vote into the candidate who does not need to pay to deserve being elected.

Now to answer that question raised by my friend: I am not supporting Brother Eddie Villanueva because he is Brother Eddie Villanueva. I have adopted the Bangon Pilipinas Party’s principles in choosing and voting candidates because I believe in the correctness of these principles which is basically the same as that espoused by our Catholic hierarchy. The only difference is that our bishops refuse to go as far as naming candidates. If Brother Eddie is ultimately nominated as the party’s standard bearer for president, I will very likely come out supporting him not because I know him to be good (I don’t know him that well, in fact) but because the movement that will make him win guarantees that he is given the independence of judgment as Chief Executive of the land that the trapo system cannot give its own candidates. For yours truly, that is the bottom line.

  56. I agree, that is really true, politicians always have hidden agenda. They always make promises but nothings happen. They always say that they will help poor people and fight poverty in our country.

Most politicians are doing everything even buying our votes just to win. They do this for their own sake, they only care about themselves not to the people around them.

Everyone's vote is important, so choose those candidates you think can make changes to the nation. Vote wisely..;D

I agree to you that politicians are aiming for money and power only. They do a lot of commercials and advertisement like billboards, flyers, and other things to get sympathy and to capture the audience attention because in that way, their names wouldn't be forget in the election. If politicians do not know how to value people; People in return wouldn't be able to value politicians. If people are illiterate how they will be able to vote? Their responsibility is to hear the voices and sentiments of people, not the voice of an evil who command them to do selfishness and to be corrupt. We are NOT fool to believe. =p

We,who have grown tired of the rampant graft and corruption practices perpetuated by leaders of this present administration, are now looking for a leader who has integrity, right moral values and can inspire Filipinos to once again dream and work for a better future. Filipinos should elect and put into power a whole new breed of leaders who lead the country on the fence of transparency and integrity, thereby creating a government that is more effective and more responsive to the needs and welfare of its constituents.

The money they spent in their campaigns, advertisement and endorsers should be spent in helping the country men and our poor economy!
They should have unity.. If they will only have this and altogether help the poor, helpless, un-educated, squaters, etc.,
We will have a good and peaceful community!

if we don’t re-order society on politics principles then the people will defend its self and we’ll go extinct.
Labour and Conservatism are both theories of the distribution of money and as such are two sides of the same copper coin.
Liberalism is a theory of power and as such it gets to the core and the causes rather than the edges and symptoms of injustice.
I want a fair society but don’t trust the state.
