These are the questions that I often asked to my students. To my dismay, most of them are having the same answers ( Sir, I had a date with my girlfriend,we ran out of time thats why I'm late,I'm sorry sir...or... Sir, my naughty boyfriend let mo ---- his, oh my gosh sir its too big... or ... Sir, I had a sideline down there, I need money for my tuition fees that's why I gave in to him (same sex) ... or ... My aunt sent me to an errand that took all my energy, can I just sleep in your class sir?)
I wonder why they do not have hesitations to tell the truth. They are so proud with their stupidity, prouder than I suppose. Are these the future of our country? Or is it really the trend nowadays?
I was thinking about it when one of my students approached me. She was asking if she can take off my deep thinking. I was shocked for she is already removing her trousers. ( what happened next is up to your imagination)
I am now reflecting, who are not doing it?
" Anyways everybody does it ", the answer that is rebounding in my brain cells.
This kind of thinking of the now generation, is not part of the trend. On those scenario that have mentioned, only says most of us act on certain things very basic. They dont care about the results of their actions. But the most tremendous thing behind those action is "is there something to do with how they raised by parents? " well this matters.

ReplyDeleteHaving sex is not compulsory, so remember this if you`re being bullied into losing your virginity. Sexual intercourse has to be a joint agreement between both people regardless of gender. Readiness means being aware of the risks involved from having unprotected sex and more importantly, understanding what these risks are and the consequences that derive from them, but if you are student don't focus in that kind of thing. Late coming is the main reason of the class that students cannot explain clearly to the instructors/professors. In this issue, there must be avoid to to do that. For example, in OJT there must be not avoid to do a task before attend class. Actually, tome adjustment is the best to come to school early and take some important lectures that discussed. Make sure that all important matters give sgnificance and prioritize it before anything else. And explain to a insturctor/professor must be a good manner for them...

I do agree with it. I encountered such worst scenarios on that “late issue.” We are just so careless about the time and don’t even think of the people who had the patience in waiting for us when we are late. Maybe students like us just need that kind of confrontation from our instructors to discipline us. There is a reason on why students keep on doing the same thing again and again. It could be that the instructors are not just so strict. They just let them do it without giving punishment or lesson to open their minds that what they are doing is wrong or worse it could become a lifetime hobby of the student. They will not realize it until they are in the same shoes of the instructors who are patient enough to understand whatever the late students’ alibis may be.

Students are very hard headed they come to scholl in the time that they want,but that's wrong. You are still a student,we should follow the rules. Instructors is like our second parent,that's why we should follow what they say,because what they say is only for our own sake.

In that matter, i don't see anything problem with that, maybe some students make those lines for theme to be excused. In other side, we are in a democratic country so anyone could tell their feelings freely but since i am a college student, i think its not an excuse to act that way or make things that lessen ones person morality. Being open minded is good, but making it complicated is worst. :)

Practically speaking,these days, stupidity and being sarcastic of a student doesn't matter in the present day. But, not from our country that is not adapted to that matter. It is actually the natural attitude of most students over the United States. They mostly getting more liberated through the years. As we are the students,we became a proffessional someday, so we must practice how to act in a descent way. Why we act like this, who teach us? At first I would like to disagree not all students do like this, specially myself. Education start from our home, the first learning of how we talk,walk and eat. The guidance of our parents are very important in the time growing up. This act maybe they saw from thier parents,the people arround them or on thier sorroundings. And maybe in movies or television,but it depend on us how we put it in our mind. We are already an adults, a college students,we already know what is right and wrong. Poor organization is the most common reason for lateness. Students wait until the last minute, and then do not allow themselves enough time to travel. In order to be on time for school, you should figure out how much time it takes you to travel from your house to your school. Have your things organized so that you do not spend a lot of time hunting all over the house for clothes, books, keys, etc.

Lateness is the main reason why student got low grades. because of this many student cant follow the lecture of the teacher in the class. students got low knowledge because of lateness, its very difficult because such of the student are graduate, but they have uncompleted knowledge that we can take in school.

Many of the students (specially high school students) telling a stupid lies in their teachers when they are late. I agree that when I'm in my high school days i tell a lie when im late. because, Im afraid to be scolded from my teacher in front of my classmates.. and i thought that is one of the reasons why students tell their alibis to their teachers or professor.

Hi there. There are a few possibilities. I am one of those students. WHY? 1) Maybe they like to stay up late for computer games or TV programs. 2) They don't like the class they are attending. 3) They don't like the lecturer of that particular lesson. 4) They are being bullied by friends or senior in the school & they are afraid to tell anyone too. 5) Their school is too far away from their house & this makes them to change a few buses or train and they had problem to squeeze in or had problem with the timing of when the transport reaches. Because of they are lack of support by their family so they think that having a relationship with the opposite sex can bring them satisfaction in life. I can relate on to that...Because I'm also one of those students who are being late a lot of times. But the reasons why students are late that was written there are not the same as what is mine. None of them. Beacause my reasons are just too shallow that goes something like: "I'm getting to sleep for long and sometimes it's beyond the usual time" But sometimes I don't really have the reason why I am late, it's not that I mean it, or I don't respect the instructor but there was just really a lazy part of me...And I hate it...Who doesn't have any?...I guess when I try to move the fastest move I can it still wasn't enough...But i won't stop trying...

since this is their time to put what they have learned into action...
This is the time to get a job and earn...
I must say that this doesn’t apply to every fresh graduate...
There are those who were somewhat forced to take the course they don’t have
interest in... This results to lack of interest in their jobs later on...
A business opportunity may not be appropriate for fresh graduates but
still, I know a lot of those who graduated from a course computerscience and
never practiced their profession...

They are better off having a job... Anyway, having a job means you have to work

Students are often misunderstood by the instructor..Evry students has its own personality, i dont mind there bussiness that i conclude that for me its okey to be liberated but still act to be a person with morality. Dignity is very important in every and each of us.

Waking up: stayed up too late the night before, had too many sweets at bedtime so low blood sugar, have no alarm clock, it didn't go off, spent time in middle of night washing sheets they wet, noisy environment, sleep problems like sleep apnea

Transportation: missed bus, car won't start, bike has a flat, person supposed to give ride was late or didn't show
Appointment: early appointment with doctor, dentist, therapist, or job before school didn't let them off on time
Family emergency: hospitalization, seizure, death, news of illness in extended family, lost pet, demented relative lost, teen didn't come home last night
Lack of motivation or fear: truancy, with friends hanging out, taking drugs, playing hooky, to avoid test first period, don't have work done for first period class, dislike that teacher, bullied on the way to school

..oh well,that's true that some student came late in their class then when the intsructor ask why is he/she late? their are lots of allibi to tell. But some student is having a problem with her family and boyfriends/grilfriends if why he/she come late to their class. In family problem there's a lot of trouble responsibilty to your family and arguments to your own parents.Some student getting stress with that matter. And the second problem is boyfriends and girlfriends wow i think all student are having that. All person are getting stress and foolish because of their problem with his/her relationship. Specially to all girls losing the virnity. I think having sex with his/her partners are common at this generation, i say that because i observe all persons having partners even 14-17 yr. old having a baby already..That's the biggest problem our country cause teenagers now are not thinking what they doing in their lives.

I don't agree that everybody was doing that thing. We're all matured enough to know what is right and wrong, but sad to say, there are some people who fails in doing it. But we can't blame them. They have their own lives and own view on it. Let's just try to understand them because we don't have rights to criticize them. Maybe they have deep reason why their doing that thing.

The first time i read this blog, i laughed out loud. I remember my classmates reasoning out why they were late. Students take for granted the time and don’t even think of the people who patiently waiting for them to come. There must be an avoidance to to do that. Make sure that all necessary things should be prioritize before anything else. Also, an explanation is needed by the instructor in-charge.

I hate those people doing the so called "pre-marital sex" because they love their bf or gf or it's a trend. Or worst, they do it because they want to experience how good it is. It's hard for me to wake up early, but since I become a Student Assistant Librarian it's already adjusted. At first, yes I can!.. but a few days ago, I always got late.
-.But now, I've learned a lot. There's nothing wrong of being late. but dont always be as your habit.

So if you are late be sure that your reason are realy valid to your prof. or parents..

It is the living proof that many of our fellow women are now selling their virginity just to have a living.That's not good, but what can government do? Many students admit that they are late in thier class. Some students didn't know how to explain why they are late. We are educated to know the right and the wrong things. Parents send thier children to school to learn and to know how life is so beautiful. Nobody is perfect so that there are someone don't know what they are doing. God send us a good proffessor/teacher to teach us in good way.
